Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Prospective Contractors for the Execution of Millennium Development Goals Conditional Grants Scheme Projects in Jigawa State
The Jigawa State Government in collaboration with the Federal Government of Nigeria represented by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Millennium Development Goals wishes to undertake the execution of approved projects under the MDGs Conditional Grants Scheme, 2013 round. To this end, reputable and competent contractors are hereby invited to apply for pre-qualification as prospective contractors that would execute projects under the Scheme. The projects to be undertaken include provision of health facilities and hand pumps in rural communities and Solar-powered Boreholes in Small Towns.
Submission of Pre-qualification Documents
Interested contractors are requested to submit the under-listed pre-qualification documents to the above mentioned address:
1) Certificate of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria
2) Copy of Memorandum and Article of Association of the Company
3) Evidence of Registration with Jigawa State Works Registration Board in the relevant contract category;
4) Tax Clearance for the last three years;
5) Evidence of Financial Capability & Banking Support including annual turnover of the Company;
6) Company’s profile including names of key professional staff and their resume;
7) Evidence of availability of relevant equipment and technical capacity;
8) Evidence of performance in other similar / relevant projects in the last three years;
9) Evidence of VAT Registration;
Closing date for the submission and receipt of pre-qualification documents is Friday 7th February, 2014.
Contractors who have had contracts revoked in Jigawa State for whatever reason in the last three years; contractors that have previously executed MDGs CGS Projects with more than 3 months delayed project completion; and other black-listed contractors need not apply
