Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender
The United Nations Development Programme in conjunction with Anambra State Government hereby invites bids for pre-qualification and consideration for tender from interested, reputable and competent consultants to execute the under listed assignments:
- Title
- Energy challenge-Renewable energy Access in Anambra State-Installation of 30KW solar powered Electricity Pilot project for Timber SME Cluster in Awka (ANSG/UNDP/HSRM/001/01)
- Objective
The Installation is intended to create optimal utilization of Renewable Energy Resources and to remove the burden on capital investments on Energy – Supply Infrastructure (GENERATOR) in the State.
3. Scope of Work
Installation of 30KW solar powered Electricity Pilot project for Timber SME Cluster in Awka
4. Profile of Applicants
Interested firms/Individual consultant(s) should submit their profile alongside their applications:
Experience in the industry | Technical Capacity |
Minimum of 5-8 years cognate experience in installation of solar Powered energy – projects.

At least a B. Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Installation of Solar Powered energy-base or any of the Sciences. Evidence of previous projects in solar powered installations will be an advantage. |
In the case of individual Applicant(s)/Firm(s), verifiable evidence of previous jobs done would be required. Applicants should submit their detailed Technical and Financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes clearly marked RENEWABLE ENERGY ACCESS IN ANAMBRA STATE (ANSG/UNDP/HSRM/OQ1/01) at the top right hand of the envelop. All applications should be submitted not later than 2nd June, 2014, addressed to “UNDP SSA, UNDP Office, Government House Awka.”

1 Establishment of Waste to Wealth Pilot Recycling Punt In Eke- Awka Market (ANSG/UNDP/HSRM/001/02)
2. Objective
The project intends to produce sound waste management system and practices enhanced in Eke-Awka market and promote economic benefits.
3. Scope of Work
In view of the above, the State Government in collaboration with UNDP (Nigeria) intend to establish waste sorting, composting and recycling plant and train key market leaders on the need for value re-orientation.

Objective
2. Improved Skills Of Youths And Women Groups In Key Trade Areas Of Interest For Efficiency, Sustainability And Poverty Reduction.
Scope of Work
- Determine The Needs Of Selected Agricultural Cooperative Societies In The 3 Senatorial Zones, Train Some Officers And Support Them With Equipment.

Minimum of 5 to 8 years cognate experience in cooperative societies

At least a University Degree in Cooperative Economics or Business Administration with knowledge in Accounting Evidence of previous projects will be an advantage.
