Invitation for Expression of Interest
Public Notice
Introduction
Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED) wishes to notify the General Public of her intention to engage the services of Vehicle Leasing companies in our areas of operation in Rivers, Bayelsa, Cross River and Akwa Ibom States. Consequently, PHED invites reputable companies for expression of interest for the provision of the following service:
LOT 1: Vehicle Leasing
Condition for Eligibility
Interested companies are hereby requested to submit Expression of Interest for this service. The submission should include the following:
- Evidence of Incorporation (copy of Certificate of Incorporation in Nigeria)
- Evidence of Valid Tax Clearance (copy of valid Tax Certificate for the past Three (3) consecutive years)
- Evidence of VAT Certificate (copy of VAT certificate)
- CVs of Key Personnel. Details of Experience/Technical capability of Key staff with emphasis on project(s) executed in Nigeria.
- Evidence of Equipment/Technical capability (Detail of Equipment, Plant Machinery and Tool owned or to be hired for the execution of the project(s)
- Evidence of Financial Capability/Bank support
- Evidence of having executed similar project(s) (copies of job completion certificate(s) where available.
- Evidence that all vehicles are comprehensively insured.
PORT HARCOURT ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION COMPANY WILL VERIFY ALL CLAIMS MADE BY COMPANIES. HENCE ALL NECESSARY AUTHORITIES AND GUARANTEE FOR VERIFICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED.
Submission of Documents
Interested Companies should indicate interest and submit documents in electronic copy. Bidders may also submit hard copies of their documents. Please indicate description of the project on the cover page indicating the name, mailing address and GSM No of your company. Your submission should be received in our email box, procurement@phed.com.ng on or before 13th November, 2014 and should be addressed as follows:

Important Information
- The adjudged technical responsive companies shall be invited to submit financial bid.
- This notice is not an invitation to bid please.
- Contact office of the AGM Procurement for further clarification.
- This advertisement shall not be construed as commitment on the part of PHED Management nor shall it entitle Contractors to seek any indemnity from PHED by virtue of such Contractors having responded to this advertisement.
