Background
UNICEF requires an end-to-end fibre optic based connectivity for its centralized cloud-based real-time/online applications such as MS Outlook, SAP-Vision, MS Lynch, Skype, Video and Audio conferencing etc.
The purpose of this request for proposal is to select a contractor who will install and commission suitable fiber-optics based Internet access connectivity option in all the five office locations in Nigeria listed below with priority given to Abuja and Lagos; having Business Continuity Plan (BCP) in mind.
- UNICEF Abuja, UN House, Plot 617/618, Central Business District, Abuja.
- UNICEF Bauchi, 20 Abdulkadir Ahmed Road, Bauchi.
- UNICEF Enugu Office, 32/34 Ishielu Avenue, Independence Layout, Enugu.
- UNICEF Kaduna, 53 Yakubu Avenue, Kaduna.
- UNICEF Lagos, 14B Lugard Avenue, Ikoyi – Lagos.
Specific Task Involved (please refer to proposal for details):
A. Internet Service Provider (ISP) to Provide, installs, and configures hardware and software needed to deliver the Internet service to the respective rooms where UNICEF’s firewall is located in each of the five (5) UNICEF office locations (Abuja, Bauchi, Enugu, Kaduna, and Lagos).
B. ISP to integrate the Internet link to UNICEF local area network in each of the five UNICEF office locations (Abuja, Bauchi, Enugu, Kaduna, and Lagos)
C. ISP to be present when link is tested and certified by UNICEF ICT staff in each of the five (5) UNICEF office locations (Bauchi, Enugu, Kaduna, and Lagos).
Notes: Requested Telecom Company with Facilities to provide Fiber Optics Links. The vendor should have adequate experience in executing assignments of this nature and should have proven track record.

Submission of Proposal (RFP)

1. A cover letter in the company letter headed paper
2. Detailed technical and financial proposals as indicated in the proposal instruction to bidders.
3. A copy of certificate of incorporation, and registration.
4. A copy of the company profile, staff CVs, list organizations to which similar services has been provided and at least 3 reference letters from clients served in similar area of specialization
