Christian Aid is a UK-based international NGO which exists to eradicate poverty around the world, in Nigeria Christian Aid has Community Health and HIV as one of its programmatic areas of work of which the Strengthening Community Health and HIV project funded by DFID, as part of its Programme Partnership Agreement (PPA), contributes to improved health for the most poor, marginalized and vulnerable groups in communities, particularly women, children and people with HIV.
Christian Aid Nigeria is looking to recruit a consultant to review the strengths and weaknesses in the implementation of the DFID PPA supported project over the last three years and inform future implementation of similar projects to maximise achievements and sustainable transformations. The evaluation is intended to contribute significantly to informing the usefulness or otherwise of the ‘fruit bowl’ approach. It will focus on relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability and significant changes of the project on the beneficiaries.
The evaluation will take place at 3 levels – community, partners and Christian Aid and will cover the Federal Capital Territory, Plateau and Benue States.

- Overview of consultant’s academic qualifications/CVs and relevant experience to be included.
- Description of the services/work to be performed
- Proposed methodology, budget and work plan
- Proposed team
- Delivery schedule
- An example of a previous evaluation report and 2 references from organizations where evaluations were conducted.
