UNICEF Nigeria Country Office is calling for interested service providers to submit applications to become prequalified for Security services.
Expression of Interest: Abuja/2014/004 Security – Services to UNICEF Lagos and Enugu Field Offices
Background
UNICEF Nigeria Country Office requires the services of private Firms to provide Security Services for its premises; currently, the Office is conducting prequalification exercise for security services in its Lagos and Enugu Field Offices.
Major Tasks: the services required include, but not limited to
- 24 hour guard services (7 days week)
- 24 hour back up alarm response (7 days /week)
- Security escort service as and when required
Mandatory Requirements for Prequalification
1. Physical location of the company
• Must have current Office in a) Lagos; b) Enugu (each location will be assessed separately)
2. Reputation (references will be contacted)
• Solid experience in provision of security services and implementation of similar contracts.
3. Demonstration of adequate levels of personnel, skills, equipment, facilities, systems and conduct integrity required to achieve effective and reliable security services in the following areas:
• Personnel: office organogram and CVs of senior and technical level positions.
• Proven skills, experience and training of supervisors
• Management oversight, available locally in Lagos and/or Enugu
• Guards’ compliance to minimum quality standards (level of experience, trainings, etc.)
• Logistics backing – transport, uniforms, etc
4. Financial Capacity: Good financial standing
• Procedures for timely remuneration of guards’ services

Interested service providers are encouraged to complete and submit the Supply Profile Form (SPF), which can be downloaded from www.unicef.org/nigeria/about_3841.html or obtained by sending an enquiry to abujasupply@unicef.org.

This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. We do not require bids or proposals at this stage; we merely seek your expression of interest in participating in the tender.
A response to this Request for Expression of Interest does not automatically ensure that you will be selected to participate in the tender.
UNICEF reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. UNICEF also reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing the final tender document.
