Expression of Interest for Community Organizations to Implement Youth Programmes for Girls in Northern Nigeria
Background
Community Spaces for Adolescent Girls Empowerment (CSAGE) is a 5-year project funded by the UK Department for international Development (DFID), CSAGE aims to support community-Based Organisations (CBOs) in six focus state in Northern Nigeria (Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Yobe and Zamfara) to deliver quality programming to adolescent girls to improve opportunities related to education, healthy lives, and productive livelihoods
Against this background, CSAGE is seeking Expressions of interest (EOI) from CBOs will demonstrated experience, commitment and capacity to work within their communities to scale up current programmes to support adolescent girls ages 10-19 to build life skills leading to better life options.
CSAGE will provide technical support and small grants to the CBOs to support activities.
Submission of Expressions of Interest
Interested organizations are required to submit the following
- A brief EOI letter on the letterhead of the organization
- A 1-2 page description of the organization’s work with adolescent girls ages 10-19 in the six focus states
- A description summary of the CBO’s work in organizing girls-focused clubs to encourage school attendance, good health, literacy and numeracy and to develop other life skills
- Key contact person(s), their position(s), and contact details
- A copy of National, State, or Local Government Registration
- Address of a physical office in one of the six focus states

Selection Process:
EOIs will be reviewed as they are received. Organizatons whose submissions reflect work focus, experience, and capacity requirements will be contacted by CSAGE for further consideration.
