Background of Marie Stopes International Organisation Nigeria (MSION)
Marie Stopes International Organisation Nigeria (MSION) is a results-orientated non-profit Social Enterprise, which uses modern management and marketing techniques to meet the needs of the underserved and dramatically improve access to high quality family planning and other reproductive health services in Nigeria. MSN is part of Marie Stopes International’s Global Partnership, which operates in over 42 countries worldwide. Marie Stopes International Organisation Nigeria is currently seeking Expression of interest from qualified vendors. Based on the evaluation of the submitted expression of interest proposals, MSION will invite shortlisted organisations to fill MSION expression of interest form, and other documents.
Facility Management Services (Maintenance, Cleaning and General Office
Support):
Scope of work:
Lot 1: Professional offices and industrial cleaning services, Landscaping and Horticultural and
Hygiene services and Building infrastructural maintenance services including but not limited to the following:
- Stripping, Scrubbing, polishing and buffing of Hard floor.
- Professional Sanitation, restroom maintenance and application of disinfectant/air freshener. Professional cleaning of reflective glass doors, frames and partition, chemical dissolution of cement and other stains.
- Cleaning of the common areas, staircase and the surroundings.
- Cleaning of the board room and conference room.
- Tendering the lawn, filling cabinets, furniture, handsets and other equipment
- Cleaning of suspended ceiling boards and Removal of cobwebs Removal of waste from office locations
- Fumigation of the entire complex-interior and exterior.
Lot 2: Building infrastructural maintenance: Waste management services
- Parking management maintenance
- Fire emergency management service
- Heating, ventilation and Air Conditioner maintenance
- Electrical systems maintenance
- Plumbing maintenance.

(A) Expert in fleet management (Vehicles and Drivers)
(B) Ware housing of pharmaceutical and other FP commodities
(C) Overall management of logistic system in an organization.
(4) Medical equipment and Pharmaceutical Supplies

(C) Supply of Laboratory Reagents and consumables
(D) Medical waste management

(B) Supply and branding of IEC/Promotional items etc.

(7) Request for Proposal
Marie Stopes proposes to develop a Knowledge Management Portal whose overall objective is to enhance communication and collaboration amongst staff, provides insight to how we see the project design goals being integrated into six major features that ensure the needs are met in the immediate, medium and long term. The technical areas of the Knowledge Management Wheel are elaborated as follows:
- Full Licence MS SharePoint.
- Portal and enterprise Search capability.
- Content management functionality.
- Full Licence Integrated Lync Services for Internal Communication.
- Business intelligence for delivering critical data information
- Business Data Catalogue and Executive summary.
- Deployment of Workflow and process flow system.
- Migration of current data from the current DMS to the licenced SP.
Selection Criteria
Please, read this section carefully and be sure that all requested information are included in your submission, evaluators will neither make assumptions nor draw inferences regarding missing or incomplete information could result in the rejection of proposals.
Proposals should be comprehensive and highlight how the bidding company intends to meet up our requirements, as stated above, to clearly state service costs and/or rates of commission.
Proposals should include the following:
(A) Detailed company profile with registered address, functional company email address, telephone numbers and physical point of contact for the organisation.
(B) Evidence of company registration i.e. certificate of incorporation
(C) Audited financial statement for at least 1 year or more starting from the most recent year
(D) Tax clearance certificate (Recent year (s)
(E) Evidence/Proof of providing such supply/services to other NGOs and any other reputable organisations (Copies of purchase orders/service agreements/contracts are to be attached)
(F) Recommendation letter from past and present clients
(G) Closing date for receiving proposals/applications is 11th – 18th February, 2015.
Any proposals/application received after ten working days will not be accepted. Submission of proposals:
Complete proposals and all the supporting documents listed above, well banded must be submitted in a sealed envelope labelled Expression of interest/Invitation to prequalify as MSION vendor and addressed to Admin Manager, Marie Stopes International Organisation Nigeria,4 Kukuyi Close, Off Nairobi Street,Wuse 2, Abuja.

- Any proposal received after the deadline for submission stated herein shall be rejected.
- No proposal shall be modified after the deadline for the submission of the proposals Fax, e-mail documents or postmarked documents will not be accepted
- All cost incurred by bidders as a result of this process and any subsequent requests for information shall be borne by the bidding organisations
- This advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of Marie Stopes International Organisation Nigeria to appoint any organisation nor shall it entice any organisation to claim any indemnity from MSION
