The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is an international, non-sectarian, voluntary organization providing relief, protection and resettlement services for refugees and victims of oppression or violent conflict. IRC responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 1933, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster.
The IRC has been active in Nigeria since 2012, providing essential services for refugees and host communities in partnership with several international donors; the IRC is continuing its operations in North East Nigeria and is issuing this RFQ to solicit competitive, sealed, proposals to establish a contract for provision of the following items;
Household Items:
- 850 pieces of Mattresses (small size) (good quality)
- 850 pieces of Blankets (150cm x 200cm) (good quality)
- 5100 pieces of plastic plates (good quality)
- 1700 pieces of plastic floor mats (good quality)
Cooking items:
- 850 pieces of aluminium cooking pots (capacity of 5L) (good quality)
- 850 pieces of aluminium cooking pots (capacity of 7L) (good quality)
- 3400 pieces of table spoons (stainless steel) (good quality)
- 3400 pieces of plastic cups (good quality)
- 1700 pieces of big stirring spoons (stainless steel)
It is required to provide sample of above items.
Interested and suitable vendors to supply these items in large quantities may submit by hand their offers and quotation documents in sealed envelope clearly marked the tender reference #/s above and address to:

All bids must fully provide the following documents:
- Company profile
- Bank details/financial capability from the angle of finance
- Previous job done or experience
- Location of the company
- Legal registration of the company with CAC i.e. Corporate Affairs Commission
- Tax/Vat document
- Delivery Date and location
- Good sample
All required documentation must be submitted together with the quotation. Failure to complete any parts of this document, or failure to submit required documentation will result in elimination from the bid process.
Bids will not be accepted after close of business on bid closing date.
