RFP- National Survey on Drug Use in Nigeria
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on behalf of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime(UNODC), invites proposals to conduct an assessment (including size estimation) of drug users in community setting, seeking to provide information at the national (including urban/rural) level on:
- The extent and pattern of high risk drug use, including poly drug use, injecting drug use, severity of dependence and related social and health problems among regular/dependent drug users in community settings
- Structural, social, and cultural factors (e.g., geographical location, social and demographic profiles, etc.) which may influence the high risk/problematic drug use in Nigeria and subsequent attempts to address this situation;
- Access and utilization of drug dependence prevention, treatment and care services, other health and social services by high risk drug users;
- Social and health consequences of problem drug use (especially criminality, arrest, imprisonment, HIV, and other infections);
- Estimates of high risk drug users based on gender and age, etc.

All proposals must be received at the UNDP Office, 19 T.Y Danjuma Street, Asokoro, Abuja latest by 5:00pm on 29th May, 2014.
