Invitation to Pre-Qualify For Management Of SFH Repackaging Process
Society for Family Health, Nigeria (SFH) is an indigenous non-governmental non political and non-profit organization that supports the Nigerian Government’s efforts in public health interventions. SFH activities focus on Child Health, Family Planning, HIV & AIDS, Maternal and Reproductive Health and Safe Water Systems.
SFH repackages some of the commodities for its social marketing programmes within its warehouse located in Ota, Ogun State. The packaging process involves recruitment and management of over 380 staff whose major tasks include repacking of commodities, loading and off-loading of delivery trucks and provision of other administrative functions like cleaning of the warehouses and the environment. We are currently seeking to engage a third party to provide these services.
SFH invites responses from interested and qualified organizations that will provide the above stated services to be engaged for a fixed term contract.
Objective of Service: To ensure effective management of packaging workers in a way that will guarantee continuous maintenance of quality in all SFH packaged commodities.
Specific Activities:
SFH engages the services of consulting firms to manage the packaging staff whose roles are to repackage SFH commodities to meet set quality standards, ensure daily cleaning of the packaging area and the entire warehouse, ensure prompt loading and off-loading of deli very trucks and support in the necessary documentations.
SFH intends to retain the services of one consulting firm/organization. Organizations interested in providing the above mentioned services are expected to send their profile, proof of eligibility (as described below) as mentioned above. Pre-qualification Requirements:
To be eligible for consideration, interested companies must submit tender documentation that includes the following:
- Profile of the organization including
- A copy of evidence of Company registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Physical address of organization (including list of branches).
- Key contacts (website, email, 24hours helpline, and telephone)
- Demonstrable evidence that firm has been engaged in similar activities for more than one year.
- Evidence of Financial management systems to include
- Company Current Three-year Tax clearance certificate
- Audited financial accounts for most recent three (3) years.
- Clients’ references for work relevant jobs performed within the last twelvemonth period.
- Evidence of compliance with statutory labour laws including but not limited to “Pension Laws”, “Employees Compensation Act” and “Pay as You Earn” laws.
Please Note:
- At this stage, a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ qualifier will be used to rate all the requirements above, and only companies with a ‘yes’ response against all the requirements above will be considered to respond to a “Request for Quote”
- Only companies that satisfy the Pre-qualification requirements will be contacted with Request for Quotes (RFQ).
- This advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of SFH to appoint any organization nor shall it entitle any organization to claim any indemnity from SFH.
- All costs incurred by bidders as a result of this process and any subsequent requests for information shall be borne by the bidding companies
Submission of Application/Closing Date:
The code SFH/WAREMAN-08-14 should be boldly written on the top right corner of the Pre-qualification submission envelope.
Name of organization tendering should also be clearly written on rear of the envelope.
This sealed envelope containing two hard copies of the submission should be addressed to the Director, Procurement Division and received in our Abuja office at 8 Port-Harcourt Crescent, off Gimbiya Street, Area 11, Garki Abuja not later than 25th September 2014.
