Prequalification of Service Providers
Foundation for AIDS Care, Prevention and Advocacy in Nigeria (AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) Nigeria is an NGO working in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health to provide HIV/AIDS care, including antiretroviral treatment, basic palliative care, psychosocial support, HIV Testing and Prevention, training and other related services. Our country Program Office is based in Abuja and our operational sites are in rural areas in Benue, Kogi, Nassarawa, FCT Abuja, Cross River and Anambra state from where we provide free HIV services.
The Program now invites sealed bids from all eligible firms /persons for pre-qualification of service providers for works, services, and supplies for the year 2015/2016.
(i.) Drugs for treating Opportunistic Infections (OI’s)
(ii.) Antiretroviral Drugs
(iii.) Medical Sundries and Supplies
(iv.) Laboratory Reagent including but not limited to HIV test kits, Reagents for Haematology, Clinical Chemistry and Parasitology
(v.) Stationary – All types
(vi.) Printing services e.g. Monitoring & Evaluation Tools etc.
(vii.) Computer & IT equipment
(viii.) Toner and Cartridge (for photocopiers, Printers)
(ix.) Office Equipment
(x.) Electrical Materials (Fixtures and Fittings)
(xi.) Furniture and Fittings for office and clinics
(xii.) Protective wears (Head gears, safety laboratory shoes, clinical coats, life jackets/vests)
(xiii.) Clinical reference materials (books, charts and cards)
(xiv.) Supply and maintenance of fire extinguishers
(xv.) Kitchen/Grocery items and toiletries
(xvi.) Tyres and tubes
(xvii.) Air Conditioners
(i.) Hotel Services (Abuja, Makurdi, Lokoja, Kabba, Lafia, Keffi, Calabar, Awka, Uyo, Umuahia etc.)
(ii.) Fumigation services
(iii.) Repair and servicing of generators
(iv.) Repair and servicing of air conditioners
(v.) Repair and servicing of motor vehicles
(vi.) Motorcycles repair and maintenance
(vii.) Cleaning and forwarding services
(viii.) Tours and travel services
(ix.) Taxi/Car hire service
(x.) Courier services
(xi.) Service/Maintenance of the electrical system
(xii.) Engraving of assets
(xiii.) Corporate uniforms
(xiv.) Designing, printing and branding of I.E.C. Materials and Promotional items
(xv.) Computer and software maintenance
(xvi.) Repair, Servicing and maintenance of clinical laboratory equipment and instruments
(xvii.) Medical waste management and waste disposal
(xviii.) Billboard advertisements, and other radio, television and electronic media services
(xix.) Training facilitation
(xx.) Health Maintenance Organisation (HMO) – Health Insurance
(i.) Provision of Building materials, renovation work, partitioning and construction works, (medical oriented), painting etc.
(ii.) Carpentry works
(iii.) Plumbing Fixtures and Fittings
All valid applications must be accompanied by the following:
(i.) Certificate of Incorporation or Registration
(ii.) VAT Registration where applicable
(iii.) Valid Income Tax Clearance for 2013/2014
(iv.) References or contact of references from three reputable organizations.
(v.) Current registration/renewal of pharmaceutical premises certificate (Drugs)
Please note, no firm/company should bid for more than three items
Method of Submission:
Bids are to be delivered in Properly Sealed Envelopes and marked “Prequalification for Provision of (nature of business)”. These should be addressed to:

AHF is a private organisation and bids shall be evaluated as per AHF bidding & procurement guidelines and only successful bidders will be notified.
NB: Submission of interest shall close by 3pm Monday, 11th May 2015 and any submission after the deadline will not be considered.
