Request for the Expression of Interest as a Consultant
(A) Introduction:
The Kano State Board of Internal Revenue wishes to engage the services of a competent Data Analyst that will synchronize the current informal sector Revenue Data generated by the Board with help of SPARC, DFID-funded project.
The objective is to build a credible informal sector data base that will enable Board of Internal Revenue explore additional ways to generate more revenue from the non-captive sources.
(B) Scope:
(1) Refining and synchronizing preliminary data and building on it.
(2) Designing a systematic way to collect informal sector taxes from the generated data.
(3) Deployment of relevant IT infrastructure to generate and manage the available data.
(C) Expression of Interest Requirement:
(1) Evidence of certificate of Registration by CAC (certify true copy of certificate of incorporation)
(2) Evidence of Tax Payment for the last 3 years.
(3) Evidence of similar project in the past, if any.
(4) Company’s profile.
(5) Minimum of 5 years experience in informal sector data generation.
(6) Ability to work hand in hand with Kano Board of Internal Revenue staff.
(7) The task to be completed within a period of the 4 weeks from the commencement date.
(8) Scope and condition of additional Task to be negotiated.
(D) Submission of Expression of Interest Documents:
The expression of interest documents are to be submitted in 4 copies. The documents should be arranged in the order listed under expression of interest requirements and should be sealed in an envelope mark “Expression of Interest-Informal Sector Data” and addressed to.
