Expression of Interest (EOI) for Audit of Unicef Implementing Partners
Reference: EOI-NGR-2015-003HACT Audit
UNICEF Nigeria Country Office is seeking Auditing Firms to be pre-qualified for the upcoming tender for auditing services. The Services will include auditing of 28 selected Partners.
Background: Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfer (HACT) is a risk based management approach that allows the UN to shift its efforts away from input monitoring to achievement of programme results and strengthening of national capacities for management and accountability, with a view to gradually shift to the use of national systems.
Key Tasks:
Review of the Implementing Partner’s programme management system Assessment of the IP’s internal controls
Review of a sample of FACE forms and transaction testing
Mandatory Requirements for Prequalification
(1) Certified and legally registered Audit firm with minimum of 5 years cognate existence
(2) Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing of public organizations.
(3) Personnel: CVs of key staff detailing the expertise and experience in auditing for public organizations.
Submission of Request to Prequalify
Interested companies are encouraged visit our website http://www.unicef.org/nigeria/supply.html to download/print the Supply Profile Form (SPF). The completed SPF should be submitted with a copy of certificate of incorporation, and registration; b) copy of documents to support prequalification process as given in “Mandatory requirements.” This has to include, at least, the references of three recent auditing contracts delivered.

This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. We do not require bids or proposals at this stage; we merely seek your expression of interest in participating in the tender. A response to this Invitation for Pre-qualification does not automatically ensure that you will be selected to participate in the tender.
UNICEF reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process.
UNICEF reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing the final tender document.
