Invitation for Pre-qualification: Supply of Oil Spill Response Equipment
- Introduction:
Clean Nigeria Associates Ltd Gte, (CNA), is an independent, non-profit company, formed and funded by 14 oil producing companies operating in Nigeria, to respond to their Tier 2 oil spill response needs. CNA invites the submission for pre- qualification of experienced equipment Suppliers to provide specified oil spill response equipment required to upgrade CNA’s Oil Spill Response Capability as part of Phased CNA’s Development and Upgrade Program.
- Scope of Work:
The services involves supply of Booms, Skimmers / spare parts and shall include the placement of order, importation, (CIF sea) shipment to a Port in Port Harcourt, clearing from port of entry, transportation and delivery of specified oil spill response equipment to CNA’s warehouse at Onne, Rivers State. The delivery of required equipment shall be in conformity with specifications as will be detailed in the tender documents.
3. Pre-Qualification:
In order to be considered for pre-qualification, interested companies with relevant experience should submit a letter of expression of interest, which must be accompanied by the following documents:
a) Copy of Certificate of Incorporation in Nigeria
b) Copy of 2013 and 2014 certificate (or proof of renewal for 2014) of registration with the Department of Petroleum Resources for oil spill control
c) Copy of NOSDRA 2013/2014 permits
d) Full details of Company Profile including organizational structure and available resources with a list of at least five (5) relevant key professional staff and their resume.
e) Certified true copy of memorandum and article of association.
f) Company’s Audited Account for the last three (3) years and financial details including evidence of financial support by a bank; (including VAT).
g) Company’s Employee Compensation Policy.
h) Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.
i) Nigerian/local content inclusion plan.
j) Current company approved Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) manual with signed policies.
k) Five years cognate experience in oil and gas industry.
l) Any additional information that will enhance the potential of the company.
m) Details of recent verifiable experience of similar supplies to the oil industry and characteristics that pre-qualifier has undertaken as direct contractor in the past three (3) years.
Interested companies should make their submissions in a sealed package clearly marked “Pre-qualification for Supply of CNA Phased Oil Spill Response Equipment 2014”. Two hardcopies and one electronic copy of the pre-qualification information are to be submitted in separate sealed envelopes. Submissions should reach the address given below not later than 20th August, 2014:
